4th IFIP NTMS International Workshop on Innovative Projects
in conjunction with the
8th IFIP International Conference on New Technologies, Mobility and Security (NTMS) – 21-23 November 2016, Cyprus
After the success of its previous editions, the 2016 IFIP International Conference on New Technologies, Mobility and Security (NTMS) is organizing the fourth IFIP NTMS International Workshop on Innovative Projects to promote applied research, applications-oriented R&D and innovative technologies. The main goal of this workshop will be to enable industrials and academics to present their latest innovations and technological developments, as well as to exchange ideas and facilitate the collaborations between the community members
This workshop will include talks on innovative technologies, experimental test-beds, proof of concepts, as well as on recent advances obtained within the framework of research projects, developed under worldwide innovation programs or clusters, such as EUREKA, FUI, ANR, NSF, QNRF, etc. The goal is to support the diffusion of information and the exchanges between the end users, industrials and researchers.
The topics of interests are the same ones as those of the main NTMS conference and its related workshops:
Track 1: Mobility & Wireless Networks
4G and 5G Networks, Device to Device (D2D), Cellular Technologies for IoT, WLAN, WPAN, MANET, VANET, HetNet, Green Communications, Localization, Wireless MAC Protocols, Radio Resource Allocation and Management, etc.
Track 2: Security
Security Engineering, Cryptography, Security in Distributed Systems, Light-Weight Cryptography, Privacy and Anonymity, Social and Psychological Aspects of Security, Information Hiding, Trusted Computing, etc.
Track 3: New Technologies and Services
New Generation Internet, Web 2.0, NGN Architectures, IPTV and CDN, Smart Homes and E-Health, RFID and Biometrics, Virtualization, Intelligent Traffic Information Services, Smart Cities, Vehicular Networks and Applications, etc.
Authors are invited to submit papers on the EDAS web site of the conference in PDF format (https://www.edas.info/newPaper.php?c=21319&track=78799).
Submissions should be original and limited to 2 double-column pages, and should follow IEEE paper templates. All accepted papers will be published and distributed with the official conference proceedings.
Submitted papers must be printable in order to be accepted and it must include the following information:
• Title of the paper;
• Authors' names and affiliations;
• Contact author's name and address (both postal and electronic);
• A short abstract;
• A list of keywords;
• A clear description of the motivation, design briefing, key R&D results, and lessons learned;
Please note that all the content must be strictly educational and marketing oriented papers will not be accepted. The selection will be done by members of the technical and industrial program committees.
